The cost of a new kitchen or bathroom will depend on size, furniture, appliances, and level of building work required. As a very rough guide, new kitchen prices start from around £20,000, a new bathroom on average works out at around £15,000 – please note these prices include design, all building work, appliances, furniture and professional installation.

Yes, we offer a full kitchen and bathroom design service using the latest CAD and 3d design software.  Your kitchen design consultation can take place either at your home or at our showroom where we will be able to show you a number of installed kitchens in various styles, and from different kitchen manufacturers.  We will ask you about kitchen styles and features that you like, and don’t like, and we can help with ideas and ask questions to help you think about options you may not have previously considered.  Following a home visit, we will use the information we have gathered to develop a series of kitchen designs and to make recommendations for kitchen products, finishes, appliances, and kitchen accessories.  Our kitchen design will include an estimated quotation.  Often a design will be discussed and revised until it looks exactly as you want it.

Kitchen installations can take anything from 10 days to 4 weeks depending on the size of the project and the level of building work required.

Depending on availability of items, we usually allow 6 – 8 weeks. Supply only kitchens can be a lot quicker, sometimes 2 – 3 days from ordering.

We can source any brand or make of kitchen appliance. Our kitchen appliance brands of choice for quality are Siemens, Neff, and Bosch.

 If your kitchen is worn out, old or outdated, then replacing it with a new kitchen could potentially add value to your property and make it more attractive to buyers.

Yes, all our kitchen appliance are covered by manufacturer warrantees. Extended warranties are available on certain kitchen appliances please ask for details.

We always recommend high quality wirework and cabinets for your new kitchen. Quartz worktops, bespoke LED lighting, and an instant hot water tap will give your new kitchen the wow factor!

There are many creative ways we can make the most of your available kitchen storage space, popular options are le mans, islands, internal bins, towel rails, drawers, wireworks.

No, we will provide all qualified trades, including plumbers and electricians as part of our kitchen and bathroom project management and installation service.

Yes, all our kitchens and bathrooms come with a 12-month guarantee. Other elements of your kitchen and bathroom will come with full manufacturer warranties.

Yes, we will arrange for your old kitchen to be removed and we will dispose of it for you.

An initial visit usually lasts about an hour, and a kitchen and bathroom design consultation can last up to 2 hours.

To get the most out of your design consultation, we recommend thinking about your available budget, the type of bathroom or kitchen you’d like, eg. Traditional or contemporary. Also if you have examples of kitchens or bathrooms you like – Pinterest and Instagram are great places to find inspiration. Of course, we’ll do our best to show you all the options available and find you the kitchen or bathroom of your dreams!

We like to think we get the design right most of the time! but of course, we want you to be delighted with your dream kitchen or bathroom so we’ll work with you until we get something you love and within your budget / price range.

No, all our kitchen and bathroom design consultations are completely free of charge.

We supply all styles and types of kitchen including modern kitchens, shaker kitchens, traditional kitchens, painted wood kitchens, gloss kitchens, real wood kitchens, and handle-less kitchens.  We have many example kitchen installed in our kitchen showroom.

Yes, in our showroom we have many examples of completed kitchen and bathroom installations. We also have samples of doors, worktops, handles, hinges, and flooring. If we haven’t got it in our showroom, we can source it for you.

Yes, all our new kitchen projects are fully project managed, this includes kitchen design, planning, ordering, removal and disposal of your existing kitchen, installation of your new kitchen and kitchen appliances, the finishing touches such as taps, tiles, flooring etc.  We also co-ordinate all the necessary trades at the required point in the project such as gas fitters and/or electricians.   Your project manager will make sure your kitchen project moves forward without unnecessary delay and is completed to your complete satisfaction.  They will communicate with you throughout and be available to answer any questions you may have.

 

Integrated appliances such as microwaves, and instant hot taps are great ways to free up space on your kitchen worktops.

No, you can choose to have free-standing appliances if you prefer, for example, you may choose to have a Rangemaster range cooker or a Samsung American style fridge freezer. Free-standing appliances work well in utility rooms. Generally, integrated kitchen appliances are recommended, as these are aesthetically more pleasing.

Of course! – we have an amazing showroom and access to hundreds of inspiring examples of kitchens and bathrooms.

Yes, we are able to help with all styles of kitchen including traditional kitchens. We also offer a completely hand-made bespoke wooden kitchen option.

Our kitchen designers will help you make the most of your small kitchen and maximise the space available to you. Good planning will ensure your new kitchen meets all your needs.  Colour, lighting and finishes touches should all be carefully considered when working on a small kitchen design.  There may be the option for smaller or slimline appliances.  There are also many clever kitchen storage solutions available.

Yes, providing you have adequate space, you might also want to consider a kitchen peninsula, which is similar to an island but attached to a wall.

Yes, we do! – please get in touch, and we can advise of the ranges available. With some of our supply-only kitchens, the lead times can be as little as a few days.

All our kitchens and bathrooms are manufactured here in the UK.

Yes, we have full-time kitchen and bathroom fitters, and a hand-picked team of professional sub-contractors, including plumbers, heating engineers, and electricians.

Picking out the right splashback can really lift your kitchen and add personality.

Splashbacks can be used to add contrast, an accent colour, shape, for example a herringbone design or you could make a statement with your splashback by adding a focal pattern. Alternatively, the splashback could be understated and match your wall colour or worktop.  There are lots of options for the types of materials used to create a splashback.  Choose from exposed brick, tiles, glass, AluSplash, bespoke glass, and many more. We can also create a splashback with materials to match your worktops and surfaces.  Our kitchen designers will take you through the many options and help you find something that compliments your new kitchen perfectly.

Your Appletree Interiors kitchen and bathroom designer will be your first point of contact, but we’ll also make sure you have the direct contact details for your fitting team.

It’s completely up to you! – many of our clients choose to be out of the property, or take a holiday while we work our magic, but either is fine with us.

Yes, we think it’s all about the little details and these will all contribute to the overall look of your finished kitchen. When it comes to the finishing touches our kitchen designers will make suggestions and they’ll be able to show you various options in our kitchen showroom.

Yes, our kitchen doors, cabinets, and drawers are soft close, and we would always recommend soft close for a number of reasons.

Opting for soft close places less stress on the hinges and hinge plates, which means less wear and tear, and means your kitchen lasts for longer.

No more slamming doors and drawers!  Your doors and drawers will glide to a close silently!

Safety – little fingers are less likely to get trapped in a fast-closing cabinet door.

No, unless installing a new kitchen or bathroom involves extending your property.

We will always check with our gas engineers and electricians to make sure all building regulations are being followed.

This will usually happen at our studio / showroom, as we have all our resources and samples to hand.

Yes, we’ll need to come to your property to inspect the area for the proposed kitchen and bathroom, also to take detailed measurements and make notes about electrics and existing pipe work and plumbing.

The design consultation will be undertaken by our kitchen and bathroom designer, they have experience designing hundreds of bathrooms and kitchens. They will also work closely with our experienced fitters who usually carry out the site surveys to make sure our design will fit perfectly with your property. You’ll be in safe hands!

We have loads of examples in our showroom, and you can also view completed projects in our gallery on our website. We can also put you in touch with previous clients and customers for their feedback on our work.

When selecting a worktop for your kitchen it’s important to choose something that’s practical and long-lasting as well as something stylish that fits in with the rest of your kitchen design.  Our kitchen designer will show you kitchen worktop options including laminate, solid wood, quartz, granite, and composite stone, and help you choose one that’s right for you.  We’ll provide you with the pros, cons, and prices for each option. Our experience is that stone worktops are very popular.

We will always try to install the flooring as soon as any building work or plastering is complete, this allows for the neatest installation and avoids many of the issues of installing flooring retrospectively.

We offer a 12-month guarantee on all our workmanship, so if anything isn’t quite right or needs tweaking we’ll be around to help. We’re a small, local independent business and we value all our customers, so we’ll always try to help if we can.

Yes, our electricians are fully qualified with the necessary qualifications and accreditations.

Yes, we have a very experienced plumber in our team and our gas engineer is Gas Safe registered.

Yes, we will undertake all building work and adjustments, including plastering and bespoke carpentry. If you require more extensive building work, such as an extension then we can introduce you to a local builder we work with regularly.
